Data Deletion Request
Your Privacy Rights
We respect your right to privacy and data control. You can request deletion of your personal data at any time. We will process your request within 30 days as required by GDPR and COPPA.
How to Delete Your Data
To request deletion of your data, send an email to:
Please include the following information in your email:
- Your registered email address or username
- Confirmation that you want to delete your account and all associated data
- For parental requests: Your relationship to the child (parent/guardian) and the child's username
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request data deletion, we will permanently remove:
- Account Information: Email, username, password, profile details
- Learning Data: All lessons, progress, quiz results, and achievements
- User Content: Uploaded images, text, and custom lessons
- Usage Data: Activity logs, preferences, and settings
- Authentication Data: OAuth tokens and session data
Data Retention
After deletion:
- Most data is deleted immediately
- Some data may be retained for up to 90 days in backup systems
- Certain anonymized data may be retained for analytics (with all personal identifiers removed)
- Data required for legal compliance may be retained as required by law
Important Notes
This action cannot be undone. Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Momoro again.
For Facebook Users
If you signed up using Facebook Login, you can also manage your Momoro data through Facebook:
- Go to your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
- Find Momoro in the list
- Click "Remove" to revoke access and request data deletion
For Google Users
If you signed up using Google Sign-In, you can manage your data through Google:
- Go to your Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access
- Find Momoro in the list
- Click "Remove Access" to revoke permissions and request data deletion
Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation when:
- We receive your deletion request
- Your data deletion is complete
