A Visit to the Library

Last Saturday, my mother and I went to the library. The library is a big building with many books. It is near the park in our town.

When we arrived, we showed our library cards to the lady at the desk. She smiled and said hello. Then we went inside to look for books.

I wanted to find books about animals. My mother helped me search on the computer. We found five books about dogs, cats, and birds. I was very happy.

My mother chose two books about cooking. She likes to make new recipes for dinner.

We sat at a table and looked at the pictures in my animal books. I learned that dolphins are very smart. They can swim fast and jump high.

After one hour, we went to the desk to borrow the books. The lady scanned our books and told us to return them in two weeks.

On the way home, I carried my books in a special bag. I could not wait to read them at home. I love going to the library because there are so many interesting books to discover.
